Iseki GEAS AT23-AT33 engine oil & fluids

Iseki GEAS AT23-AT33 engine oil and fluids: types and quantities

The wrong oil or too little coolant is one of the fastest ways to prematurely wreck an otherwise healthy Iseki GEAS AT engine. That's why below you'll find all the fluids, types, and quantities exactly as Iseki prescribes them in the factory manual.

Suitable for the entire series: Iseki GEAS AT23, AT25, AT27, AT30, AT33, AT27N and AT33N.

Fluids at a glance

Fluid Quantity Type
Engine oil 5.3 litres Iseki Diesel Deluxe Oil / Iseki Super Multi Engine Oil, or equivalent CC-class or higher
Transmission oil (gearbox, also hydraulics) 35 litres Iseki U.T.H Oil 80W
Front axle oil 7 litres (AT23, AT25-02, AT27N) or 7.5 litres (AT25, AT27, AT30, AT33, AT27-02, AT27N-06, AT30-02, AT33N, AT33N-06) Iseki Multi Deluxe Gear Oil #80 / Iseki Hi-Boid Gear Oil #80
Coolant (radiator) 5.1 litres Antifreeze/LLC (e.g. Mobil Long Life Coolant)
Coolant (reserve tank) 1.1 litres Same
Fuel 35 litres (tank) Diesel gas oil JIS 2 (JIS 3 in severe frost)
Windscreen washer fluid (cabin version) As needed Windscreen washer fluid

Note: on this series, the transmission oil serves as both the gearbox and hydraulic oil, for both the lifting mechanism and power steering. So never use a separate hydraulic oil for this — always use the prescribed U.T.H oil (or a fully equivalent UTTO-type).

Lubrication points

Besides the main fluids, the AT series has a number of lubrication points that you grease with general (lithium) grease: the central pivot, the brake arm, and the tie rod ends front and rear. Iseki prescribes Unilube No. 2 for this, or an equivalent lithium grease. On the cabin version, the door lock is also included.

Cooling system: extra attention for grey imports

An AT that ran for years in Japan before coming to Europe has often already seen several types of coolant — or simply tap water. Limescale, rust, and any oil traces in the cooling circuit significantly reduce heat dissipation. Are you changing the coolant for the first time on a newly purchased AT? Then flush the system thoroughly before topping up with new LLC.

💡 Shop4trac tip: Not sure about the condition of the cooling system? First use a radiator flush (SKU-125007) before topping up with fresh coolant (SKU-125001, down to -40°C) For a stubborn small leak, a leak-stop additive (SKU-125008) can offer a temporary solution — but for an actual hole, a new hose or gasket remains the only structural fix.
