Description

New head gasket for the Mitsubishi K3D, the heaviest three-cylinder from the K3 series. This engine is found in the Iseki TU160 to TU177, the Mitsubishi MT17, MT210, and MTE1800, in Toro mowers, and in Vetus and Solé marine engines. The gasket seals between the cylinder head and engine block, keeping compression, coolant, and oil strictly separated from each other.

Important — two thicknesses: Mitsubishi supplied the head gasket for the K3D in two thicknesses, 1.4 mm and 1.6 mm. They each have their own part number and are not simply interchangeable: a different thickness alters the compression ratio and valve clearance. Measure your old gasket or, if in doubt, provide the engine number and we will look it up for you.

Please note: the K3D (73 mm) and the K3E (76 mm) are often confused because they look virtually identical externally and appear in the same machines. Check the engine type on the nameplate before ordering; a K3E head gasket will not fit here.
