The filters for the Yanmar GK13, GK14, GK16 and GK18 are the same across the whole series — one set of numbers, whether you have the smallest GK13 or the largest GK18. In this article you'll find all OEM filter numbers from the factory manual, the replacement intervals, and the matching filter set from our shop.

The fuel filter is combined with the water separator underneath the fuel tap. To clean it: turn the tap to "C" (closed), loosen the union nut, empty the bowl and remove dirt and water, reassemble, turn the tap back to "O" (open) and bleed the fuel system. The manual specifies this the first time after 50 hours and then every 100 hours — but as soon as the red float ring in the bowl touches the element, drain it immediately. Replace the element itself (119810-55650) every 300 hours. Available separately as Yanmar fuel filter (SKU-150007).
Blow out the air filter element (119655-12560) from the inside with compressed air every 50 hours, without damaging the pleats. When reinstalling, pay attention to the arrow markings on the cover and housing — they must align with each other, otherwise the engine will draw in false air along with dust. Replace the element after cleaning it three times or every 300 hours; according to Yanmar's troubleshooting table, a clogged air filter is the main cause of power loss. Available separately as air filter 90×186 mm (SKU-20024).
Behind a cover with two bolts at the bottom of the transmission is an insert filter (OEM 198421-24910) that filters the shared oil for the transmission, hydraulic lift and power steering. Replace it at the same time as the transmission oil (first time at 50 hours, then every 300 hours) and grease the cover's O-ring during installation. A clogged element causes a slow lift — Yanmar explicitly mentions this in the troubleshooting table. We don't stock this element as standard; email us the OEM number and your serial number, and we'll source it for you.
For the three-hundred-hour service (or the first major service after purchase), we've bundled the three engine filters together: the Yanmar GK series filter set (SKU-100114) contains the oil filter, the fuel filter and the air filter (including inner filter) — the OEM references in the set (119305-35151, 119810-55650, 119655-12560) match exactly with the numbers from the GK13–GK18 manual above. The set is listed in the shop under the European name GK160/GK200; thanks to the identical OEM numbers, it also fits the Japanese GK13, GK14, GK16 and GK18. If you have a different variant (S/F/M/OM), it's worth double-checking the dimensions or sending us your nameplate to be sure.
