Winterizing the Iseki GEAS AT23-AT33

Winterizing and storing the Iseki GEAS AT23-AT33

Not going to use your Iseki GEAS AT for a while, for example over the winter? With a few simple steps, you can prevent fluids, rubber, and the battery from deteriorating unnecessarily during downtime. Below you'll find the approach, based on the maintenance instructions from the factory manual.

Suitable for the entire series: Iseki GEAS AT23, AT25, AT27, AT30, AT33, AT27N and AT33N.

Iseki GEAS AT23-AT33 daily storage

Even between two working days, a handful of basic rules pay off. Park the tractor dry and covered and keep the tank preferably full, so no condensation gets into the fuel system. Engage the parking brake, but don't leave the clutch or disc brake under tension for a long time. And don't leave the key in the ACC position.

Iseki GEAS AT23-AT33 long-term storage (winterizing)

Action Why
Change engine oil and engine oil filter Old oil contains combustion acids that can cause internal corrosion during downtime
Check antifreeze protection of coolant, top up or replace if necessary Interval is every 600 hours or once every 2 years, but check before winter regardless
Keep the battery charged Check fluid level according to schedule (every 100 hours or once a year); periodic charging during storage prevents sulfation
Tire pressure at the correct value, tractor on hard, dry ground Prevents flat spots and rim corrosion during long periods of downtime
Grease all lubrication points (central pivot, brake arm, tie rod ends) Prevents seizing up during downtime
Clean or replace the air filter element if the interval is approaching Prevents a dirty start-up in spring
Check radiator hoses and fuel lines for cracks Rubber ages even when not in use

Getting the Iseki GEAS AT23-AT33 ready for spring

Putting the tractor back to work after winter? First check the engine oil and coolant levels, check the tire pressure, and recharge the battery if the tractor has been idle for more than a few months. This way, you avoid surprises at the first start of the season.

💡 Shop4trac tip: Before the winter break, add a Diesel Injector Cleaner (SKU-60003) to the last tank refill. This keeps the fuel system clean during downtime and reduces the chance of stuck injector needles at the first start in spring.
