Knowledge base for the Yanmar Forte F-series: F-190, F-210, F-230 and F-250 (approx. 1993–1999), the successor to the New Super Forte. These compact 4WD diesel tractors share one family, but differ in engine: the F-190 has the 3-cylinder Yanmar 3TNE78A (1204 cc, 78 mm bore, 19 hp), the F-210 the turbocharged 3TNET78A (1204 cc, 21 hp), and the F-230 and F-250 the larger 3TNE82A (1330 cc, 82 mm bore, 23 and 25 hp respectively). As a result, among other things, the cylinder head gaskets and piston rings are not interchangeable between the 78 and 82 block. The version codes: D = 4WD with mechanical transmission, DX = 4WD with Hi-Power shift, power steering and Hi-Grip turn; suffixes V = Hi-Grip turn (front-wheel dual speed), P = power steering, U = EG-UFO lift electronics, K = quick hitch, C = center rotary and S = side rotary. There is also the SUN²-hat cab version. Here you’ll find purchasing advice, technical specifications, maintenance schedules with adjustment values, oil and filter information, controls and pre-glow, hydraulics/PTO and implements, troubleshooting and storage per topic — plus matching parts from Shop4trac. Please note: the Forte AF-15 through AF-18 (with hyphen) and the later AF150–AF180 are different series.
