The three filters of your Kubota B7001 — oil filter, air filter, and fuel filter — are small in price but big in importance. Dirty filters cost power, fuel, and ultimately your engine. In this article you'll read which filters the B7001 (and B6001) use, when to replace them, and how to order everything together in one go.
Suitable for the entire series: Kubota B7001, B7001E, B7001DT, B6001, B6100, B7100, and Zen-Noh ZB7001 / ZB6001.

| Filter | Function | Interval |
|---|---|---|
| Oil filter (cartridge) | Keeps the engine oil clean | Replace every 150 hours |
| Air filter (element) | Protects the engine against dust | Clean every 100 hours, replace annually or after cleaning 6 times |
| Fuel filter | Traps dirt and water from the diesel | Clean every 100 hours, replace when contaminated |
| Hydraulic oil filter | Keeps the lift/transmission oil clean | Clean every 50 hours |
The most convenient way is to replace the three engine filters together during an oil change. The Shop4trac filter set for the B-series includes the oil filter, the air filter, and the fuel filter, plus the copper drain plug gasket that's often forgotten (and which will otherwise leak). The sizes match the original Kubota parts exactly:
Yes. The filter set fits both the B7001 (D750 engine) and the B6001 (D650 engine) as well as the entire B-series. The filters are shared across these models — the difference between the B6001 and B7001 lies in the engine block itself (bore 64–65 mm versus 68 mm), not in the filters. Whether you have a B6001 or B7001: the same filter set will do.
A small but important detail with every oil change: replace the copper sealing ring under the crankcase drain plug. If it's reused, the plug will often start leaking. The gasket is included in the filter set, so you'll have it on hand right away.
