Description

New head gasket for the Iseki TU1400. This machine is equipped with the Mitsubishi K3A, a three-cylinder diesel engine with a bore of 65 mm. The head gasket seals between the cylinder head and engine block: it retains the combustion pressure in the cylinders and ensures that coolant and oil remain strictly separated.

When to replace?

A blown head gasket usually manifests as white smoke from the exhaust, coolant disappearing without visible leaks, milky-looking oil, or an engine that struggles to reach operating temperature. Loss of power and overpressure in the cooling system are also typical signs. Skim the cylinder head and check it for cracks before installing the new gasket.

Please note: the Mitsubishi K3A, K3B, K3C, and K3D look very similar externally, but each has a different bore (65 – 68 – 70 – 73 mm). Check the engine type on the identification plate of your TU1400 before ordering; a gasket from a closely related type will not fit.
