Description

Parts for your mini tractor often do not contain all the gaskets. The solution for this is a liquid gasket that seals the part and prevents leakage. Black Gasket Maker is a flexible, waterproof filler and adhesive, resistant to high temperatures. It is a polysiloxane based product in a pressure cartridge to quickly and easily make seals and gaskets. Characteristics

• Resistant to oils, transmission oils, water, antifreeze, grease, smoke and hot toxic gases.
• Replaces cork, felt, paper and rubber gaskets.
• Resistant to low temperatures down to -40°C (continuous) and to high temperatures up to 232°C (continuous) and 300°C (short-term).
• Is harmless to electronic sensors and catalytic converters.
• No tightening is necessary after complete curing.
• No mixing required (one component).
• Content: 100 or 75ml

Applications

• Ideal for making replacement seals and gaskets for engine components (valve covers, transmission and oil pans, water pumps, thermostat housings), lighting assemblies, heating systems, air conditioning, bodywork, industrial ovens, cookers, window seals and many other applications.
• Do not apply to cylinder head gasket or where there is continuous contact with petrol.
• Do not use for gaskets deeper than 10 mm.
• Avoid contact with solvent cleaners during curing.

Instructions for use

• Remove the plastic tab (1).
• Remove the end cap from the spout (2).
• The surface must be clean, dry and free of grease.
• Apply Gasket Maker by squeezing lightly and pulling the spout along the surface (4).
• Assemble the parts immediately.
• Tighten by hand until product begins to come out around the flange.
• Let it harden for an hour and then tighten it ¼ to ½ turn.
• A dry layer forms after one hour and complete curing occurs after 24 hours.
• After use, clean the spout and replace the cap.
• If the product in the spout has hardened, unscrew the spout and remove the hardened product.
• If the application requires disassembly of the parts after making the gasket, apply Gasket Maker in the normal manner, but apply a thin film of oil to the surface opposite the gasket before joining the two surfaces
