Knowledge base for the Yanmar TNV IDI diesel engines: 2TNV70, 3TNV70 and 3TNV76 (Komatsu 2D70E, 3D70E and 3D76E). These water-cooled swirl chamber engines share one family, but differ substantially: the 2TNV70 is a 2-cylinder (0.570 L), the 3TNV70 a 3-cylinder (0.854 L) — both with a 70 mm bore — and the 3TNV76 a 3-cylinder with a 76 mm bore (1.115 L). As a result, parts for the lower block and cylinder head are not interchangeable between the 70 and 76 variants.
