The orchard version (AF-15/AF-17) is lower (1805/1835 mm) and narrower, with tires 5-12 front and 8-16 rear (AF-15), and has 260/290 mm ground clearance. The turf version (AF-16/AF-18) is 1245 mm wide and 1800 mm high, and runs on lawn tires 20.5×8.00-10 front and 31×13.5-15 rear.
Yanmar AF-15 through AF-18 transmission and driving speeds
All models have a dry single-plate clutch, a main gear lever with 4 positions, and a range lever with 2 positions: 8 forward and 8 reverse gears, shifted in driving direction via the shuttle lever (F/R) next to the steering wheel. The creep version (R) has a third range position "C," resulting in 12 forward / 12 reverse, with creep speeds starting from 0.14 km/h (AF-15). The driving speed in top gear ranges from 11.8 km/h (AF-15) through 12.7 km/h (AF-16/17) up to 13.6 km/h (AF-18). The differential features a standard lock (diff-lock pedal); the final drive uses straight-cut gears.

Yanmar AF-15 through AF-18 hydraulics and lift system
The lift is a three-point linkage in the Japanese small size (special 3P, top link category JIS1) with position control and automatic tiller depth control (auto-rotary). The inner width of the lower links is 465 mm without hitch and 565 mm with quick-hitch. A hydraulic stop/slow-return valve regulates the lowering speed, and there is an external single-acting hydraulic connection (R 3/8 thread) plus, on versions with front loader provision, a double-acting connection under the left step. The manual does not specify the lift capacity (—). The OK-UFO version adds fully automatic depth and tilt control, while the EC-UFO version adds automatic tilt control.
