Kubota B1830-B3030 filters: overview + filter set

Kubota B1830-B3030 filters: which filter fits which model?

The filters of the Kubota B2230, B2530 and the rest of the B30 series are readily available — if you know which engine is fitted. In this overview we match each filter to the correct model, including the replacement intervals from the workshop manual.

Suitable for the entire series: Kubota B1830 (D905), B2230 (D1005), B2530 (D1105) and B3030 (V1505).

Kubota B1830-B3030 filter intervals

Filter Action Interval
Engine oil filter Replace First time at 50 hours, then every 200 hours
Air filter (outer element) Clean / replace Clean every 100 hours, replace annually
Air filter (inner element) Replace Annually — never clean or blow out
Fuel filter Check / replace Check every 100 hours, replace every 400 hours
Transmission oil filter Replace First time at 50 hours, then every 300 hours
Cabin AC filters (inner + fresh air) Clean Every 200 hours

Clean the outer air filter element more often when working in dusty conditions, and replace it after six cleanings in any case. The inner element is a safety filter: only replace it, never blow it out.

Kubota B1830 and B2230 filters

The B1830 (D905) and B2230 (D1005) share their filter package. The complete filter set Kubota B1830/B2230 (SKU-10050) contains the air filter, fuel filter and engine oil filter in one box — both models are explicitly listed in the fitment list. If you only need the oil filter, the engine oil filter M20x1.5 (SKU-002/5) is the right choice.

Kubota B2530 and B3030 filters

The B2530 (D1105) and B3030 (V1505) use the filters from the larger 05 engines. For both, there is the filter set Kubota D1105/V1505 (SKU-10051) with air filter (Ø 102 × 260 mm), fuel filter and oil filter. Specifically for the B3030 there is also the filter set B2710/B3030/B3150 (SKU-100110), assembled based on the original OEM numbers for this model (including air filter 6A100-82630). The separate air filter (SKU-200014) also fits the B2530 and B3030.

Kubota B1830-B3030 fuel filter and inner air filter

The fuel filter element (SKU-150009, OEM 6A320-59930) fits all four models — the B1830, B2230, B2530 and B3030 are all listed. If the filter glass or the complete housing needs replacing, choose the complete fuel filter housing (SKU-150013). For the inner (safety) air filter element, there is the inner air filter (SKU-200029), which fits the entire series.

Tip for the fuel filter: the system on this series is largely self-bleeding. After a filter change, filling the tank properly and running the engine for about 30 seconds is usually enough. If it doesn't start right away, check that the fuel valve is open and that the O-ring on the filter glass is seated correctly — a leaking O-ring draws in air and causes exactly the starting problems you were trying to avoid with a new filter.

Kubota B1830-B3030: why timely replacement pays off

A clogged air filter restricts the air supply: the engine smokes, loses power and uses more fuel. A dirty fuel filter causes hesitation under load — a complaint that on this series is often wrongly blamed on the lift pump. And on HST models, the transmission filter protects the hydrostat, by far the most expensive part of the tractor. Filters are the cheapest insurance there is.

Tip from Shop4trac: order the filter set that matches your model and change the oil at the same time: filter set B1830/B2230 (SKU-10050), filter set D1105/V1505 (SKU-10051) or filter set B3030 (SKU-100110).
