Other drivetrain features: dry single-plate diaphragm clutch, mechanical internal drum brake, differential with lock (4-pinion bevel gear), ball screw steering mechanism. Minimum turning radius (with brake): 1.83 m (TU1401), 1.89 m (TU1501/TU1601) — this data is not listed in the factory manual for the 00 series.

Hydraulics and PTO

Component Specification
Lift system Position control, 2P rotary coupling
Pump capacity 11 l/min (00 series, factory spec)
PTO speeds 513 / 759 / 1229 rpm (3 settings, identical across all models)
PTO shaft diameter 35 mm (JIS standard)

Fluids

Fluid Capacity Specification
Engine oil 3 liters SAE 10W-30, quality grade CC or higher
Transmission/mission oil 12 liters Gear oil #80, GL-4 or higher
Coolant 4.7 liters Clean water + long-life coolant (LLC)
Front axle oil (4WD only) 2.5 liters Gear oil #80 or #90
Fuel tank 16.5 liters Diesel fuel JIS 2 or 3

These fluid capacities and specifications are identical between the 00 and 01 series.

Tip: always note the exact engine code (K3A, K3B, or K3C) from the nameplate when purchasing. This determines which head gasket, pistons, and cylinder head-related parts fit — the three engines each have a different bore and are not interchangeable with one another.
