Description

Snel Parts premium quality. This cylinder liner comes from our own production and is suitable for the Yanmar 88 mm series: 3TNV88, 4TNV88, 3TNE88, 4TNE88, and the identical Komatsu 3D88 and 4D88. The liner is supplied semi-finished: outer diameter and height are to size, the bore is honed to size by you after installation. This makes the liner suitable for both a standard and an oversized piston. Yanmar does not supply a loose liner for these engines; this overhaul liner repairs a damaged or worn cylinder wall.

Which variant do you need?

Check your original liner or the bored-out cylinder before ordering and choose the correct variant above:

• Variant 1, without flange: smooth liner without top edge, height 160 mm.
• Variant 2, with flange: equipped with a top flange (collar) that fits into the stop of the block, height 182 mm. The flange size is a fixed factory size.

What does semi-finish mean?

Semi-finish means that the outer side and height of the liner are to size, but the bore has deliberately been kept slightly smaller (rough size). After pressing into the block, the bore is bored out and honed to the final size. This always gives you a perfectly round, matching cylinder wall and allows you to choose between a standard or oversized piston.
