New 12V 65A alternator for Perkins 1004 and 1104C engines and Caterpillar 3024, C1.1, C1.5, and C2.2 engines. This alternator fits various machines including the JCB 2CX, JCB 407 to 411 wheel loaders, JCB Loadall telehandlers 520 to 550, and Caterpillar mini excavators 301.5 to 304 CR. A direct replacement for Perkins 2871A301 / 185046500, JCB 714/40152, and Caterpillar 394-3494.

• Check the amperage on your old alternator. This housing comes in three versions: 65 A (this alternator), 75 A, and 85 A. Mounting, position, and connections are identical, only the charging current differs. Does your machine have the 75A version (Perkins 2871A302, JCB 714/40153, Cat 225-3142)? • Older Caterpillar 301.5, 301.6, 301.8, 302.5, 303.5, and 304.5 with Cat 3003, 3013, or 3024 engines (manufactured approx. 1998 to 2005) often have a smaller 55 A Denso alternator (Cat 144-9952). • JCB has replaced part numbers 714/40152 and 714/40153 with 714/40476. If you have a machine from the list above, this alternator is a direct 1-to-1 replacement for part number 714/40152.
