Please note: this crankshaft is the 60 mm version. The M-series was built in multiple versions, so measure the main journal of your old shaft before ordering. If it has already been ground or is undersized, please contact us — then you will need undersized bearings instead of this set. If you have a D1503-M-E3, choose our crankshaft kit SKU-860006: the same crankshaft, but with the corresponding D1503 gasket set.

Tip: the cause of crankshaft damage is almost always a lack of oil or contaminated oil. Check the oil pump and oil channels before installing the new shaft — a new crankshaft on a worn-out oil pump will not last long. When performing an overhaul, also replace the cylinder head bolts; just like the connecting rod bolts, these stretch and should not be reused.
