• JCB 802.4 and 802.7: later versions (after approx. 2000) have a much larger 85 A alternator (JCB 332/F7240). • Other Perkins 40A alternators look similar, but are not interchangeable: the Denso 40A on the Perkins 403D-11 (185046430, JCB 02/631200) and the Delco 40A on the Perkins 400 series (T415996).
