The Iseki Landhope series – What makes this tractor so good?

The Iseki Landhope series, better known as the TU series, is a reliable and powerful tractor. Known for its separated engine and gearbox, which are connected to each other by means of a driveshaft A tractor that can be used with a front loader and delivered in many different models as shown below. Personally one of the better all-round tractors. Especially due to the flat floor and side gear shift, which makes it easy to step on. One of the options for these tractors is power steering and an electrically controlled lift. On one of the older models this could still be controlled by a small box on the rear fender. The Landhope series was always fitted with a 3-cylinder engine from Mitsubishi and Isuzu. From the L3E, K3A to K3D up to an Isuzu engine.

Many tractors are also comparable to European models. For example, the Iseki TU318 (European) is quite similar to the Iseki TU185. The same applies to the Iseki TU324 (European) and the TU245. For questions about this, you can always email us.

Supplied from 1984-1986 with the TU120 – TU240. Of which the smaller series up to the Iseki Landhope 170 was supplied with the Mitsubishi K3A, K3B, C and D engine. From the Landhope 180 onwards, the tractor was supplied with the Isuzu engine.

After that came the TU-5 series supplied from 1986-1990. Same story as above, where up to the Landhope 175 the Mitsubishi K3A, K3B, K3C and K3D was used. And from the Iseki TU197 onwards the Isuzu engine was used.

And finally the TU-7 series. The most modern of the series. Supplied from 1989 to 1992. Just like both tractors above, also supplied with a Mitsubishi and Isuzu engine. Personally, our favorite tractor is the TU177 with a Mitsubishi K3D. From there you have the Iseki TU197 with the Isuzu engine up to the TU257.

We came up with this article because we have been working with this tractor model for years. And we recently found a number of very fun (crazy) Japanese commercials. This continues to give us pleasure in our work, since the Japanese are not only exceptional at making commercials, but have also produced one of the best tractors!
