A Yanmar F18 through F265 or FX18 through FX265 runs on a Yanmar diesel engine. With proper maintenance, these engines have proven to be indestructible. This kit contains everything for a complete maintenance service of the Yanmar F- and FX-series, including the hydraulic filter.
Complete maintenance kit consists of
- Filter set: air filter (104 mm outer diameter, 254 mm long), engine oil filter, and fuel filter (50 mm outer diameter, 89 mm long).
- Hydraulic filter: spin-on filter, 140 mm high, 96 mm diameter, inner diameter 37 mm.
- Engine oil 15W40: 5 liters. According to the manual, the engine of the F195 through FX265 takes 4.0 liters.
- Coolant: 2 x 5 liters, protects down to -40 °C and prevents corrosion in the engine. The cooling system of the F195 through FX265 holds 4.5 liters plus 0.75 liters in the expansion tank, just over one bottle.
- Front axle oil 80W90 GL4: 2 x 4 liters, for the 4WD version. According to the manual, the front axle of the F215, FX215, F235, FX235, F255, FX255, F265, and FX265 takes 6 liters of #90 gear oil.
Please note for the F195 and FX195: the manual specifies transmission oil for the front axle (3.2 liters), not 80W90. The quantities can be found in our blog Yanmar F195 through FX265 engine oil and fluids. For the other models we do not have a manual: please check the capacities and prescribed oil yourself.
Also want to change the transmission and hydraulic oil? Use our transmission oil GL-4 in a 10-liter bottle. According to the manual, the capacity is 15.5 liters for the F195, 14.5 liters for the FX195, and 24 liters for the F215 through FX265. Therefore, you will need 2 or 3 bottles. The transmission oil is not included in this kit.
