New starter motor 12V 1.2 kW with 9 teeth, Hitachi S114-218 design. This starter motor is used on Ford and New Holland compact tractors 1100, 1110, 1200, and 1300 with Shibaura diesel engine, and according to JCB specialists also on JCB micro excavators and mini excavators with Perkins 403D-07 engine, such as the 8008 CTS and 15C-1 to 19C-1. A direct 1-to-1 replacement for the original JCB 714/40460.

Please note:

There are more starter motors for these engines that look similar. They are not interchangeable. Therefore, check the part number on your old starter motor and count the teeth:

• The 0.8 kW starter motor with 8 teeth (Mitsubishi M2T47281, Perkins 185086540 or 185086370) is used on standalone Perkins 102-05, 103-07, 402D-05, and 403D-07 engines, for example in generators, and on the Volvo Penta MD2010 and MD2020. This version has a different flange diameter (77 mm), 8 instead of 9 teeth, and a different solenoid position (+55°). It does not fit here. • The 1.1 kW version (Hitachi S114-381, Bosch 0001107078, Perkins 185086321) has the same 74 mm flange diameter and also 9 teeth, but the solenoid is at a different angle (+43° instead of +82°).
