A direct 1-to-1 replacement for the original: same mounting flange, same number of teeth, and same direction of rotation, so you can install it without any modifications.

Please note:

Several starter motor versions exist for the Kubota D722 that look very similar at first glance. This starter motor has 9 teeth on the pinion and delivers 1.4 kW at 12 Volt. Check two things on your old starter motor before ordering:

• Count the teeth on the pinion. If your starter motor has 10, 12, or 13 teeth, this is not the correct one — those versions do not fit the same flywheel.
• Check the nameplate. Look for Denso 428000-7330 or Kubota 1E321-63011. If a different number is listed, please contact us — we will find the correct version for you.

This starter motor is a 12 Volt version. Machines with a 24 Volt system require a different starter motor.
