Description

New alternator 12V 80A for the Yanmar 4TNV98 and 4TNV98T and the Komatsu S4D106 engine, as fitted in the Komatsu WB91R-2 through WB150-2 backhoe loaders, the Komatsu WA90-3, WA95-3, PC80MR-3 and PW110R-1, and the Takeuchi TB175. A direct 1-to-1 replacement for the original Hitachi LR180-763 (Yanmar 123910-77210): same pulley, same mounting, and same plug.

Yanmar uses more than one 80A alternator on the 4TNV98 engine. Check the number on the nameplate of your old alternator:

• Bosch version 80A (Bosch F000BL0118, Yanmar 129908-77200): the newer Yanmar 4TNV98C and 4TNV98CT (common rail), as found in the ViO80-1 and SV100-2, have a more compact 80A alternator with a black plastic end cover, a 72 mm pulley, and a plug with only L. • 40A version: some Yanmar 4TNV88 and 4TNV98 engines are fitted with a lighter 40A Denso alternator (Yanmar 129423-77210). Does your nameplate state 40 A? You can find that one here: alternator Yanmar 3TNV70 – 3TNV88 | Komatsu 40A.
• Pulley: compare the pulley with your old alternator. This version has a large pulley of approx. 82 mm with 1 groove.
