Description

New 12 Volt, 60 Ampere alternator for Kubota L-series compact tractors. This same alternator is fitted on quite a few Massey Ferguson, AGCO, and Challenger tractors that run on the same Kubota engine block. Internal regulator and internal fan, making it a direct replacement for the original.

Please note:

Kubota installed both 40A and 60A alternators on these engines. They fit mechanically in the same location but have different outputs. Please check before ordering:

• Check the amperage on the type plate of your old alternator. This version is 60A. If it says 40A, 45A, or 55A, you need a different alternator.
• The Kubota M4900 and M5700 without a cab feature the 40A version and therefore require a different alternator. Only the cab versions use this 60A unit.
• Check the number on the housing. Look for Denso 101211-2850 up to -2853 or 101211-8520 up to -8523, or Kubota 16615-64011 up to -64015 or 3A611-74011 up to -74014. Both Kubota series are the same alternator — 3A611 is the later number.
• Check the pulley. This alternator has a single V-groove and an outer diameter of 69 mm. A pulley with multiple ribs indicates a different version.

This alternator is not intended for Kubota KX and U mini excavators; those use a different version.
