A Kubota Aste A-15, A-17 or A-19 runs on a Kubota diesel engine. With proper maintenance, these engines have already proven to be indestructible. This kit contains the filters, the V-belt, the engine oil and the coolant for a maintenance service of the Kubota Aste A-15, A-17 and A-19.
Complete maintenance kit consists of
- Filter set: air filter type 1 (83 mm outer diameter, 188 mm long), engine oil filter and fuel filter. The Aste was delivered with two different air filters. First measure your old air filter: if it is 166 mm long with an inner diameter of 45 mm, you need type 2 and this kit will not fit.
- Hydraulic filter: thread M20x1.5, diameter 84 mm, length 140 mm.
- V-belt: 950 x 9.7 x 8 mm, the drive belt for water pump and alternator.
- Copper sump plug washer: the sealing ring of the drain plug. Replace it with every oil change, otherwise the plug will leak.
- Engine oil 15W40: 5 liters. According to our blog about the Aste A-155, A-175 and A-195, the engine takes 3.7 liters.
- Coolant: 5 liters, protects down to -40 °C and prevents corrosion in the engine. According to the same blog, the cooling system takes 3.5 liters and the reservoir 0.6 liters.
This kit does not include front axle oil. The front axle of the Aste does not use 80W90 but the same UDT transmission oil as the gearbox, approximately 4 liters.
Also changing the transmission and hydraulic oil? For this, use our transmission oil GL-4 in a 10-liter container. According to our blog, the transmission and hydraulics take 12 liters (K-version 14 liters) and the front axle takes 4 liters, so count on two containers. Kubota prescribes UDT or Super UDT. Check the capacity for your model in the manual. The transmission oil is not included in this kit.
