Description

Snel Parts premium quality. This cylinder liner comes from our own production and is suitable for the Yanmar 84 mm series: 3TNV84, 4TNV84, 3TNE84, 4TNE84 and the identical Komatsu 3D84 and 4D84. The liner is supplied semi-finished: outer dimensions and height are to size, the bore is honed to size by you after installation. This makes the liner suitable for both a standard and an oversized piston. Yanmar does not supply a loose liner for these engines; this overhaul liner restores a damaged or worn cylinder wall.

What does semi-finish mean?

Semi-finish means that the outside and height of the liner are to size, but the bore has deliberately been kept slightly smaller (rough size). After pressing into the block, the bore is bored and honed to its final size. This ensures you always get a perfectly round, matching cylinder wall and allows you to choose between a standard or oversized piston yourself.
