New 24V starter motor for older Isuzu 4JB1 and 4JG1 engines, as found in Kobelco SK60, SK70 and SK80CS, John Deere 75C and 80C, and JCB JZ70. A direct 1-to-1 replacement for Isuzu 8-97137-478 (Mitsubishi M8T80373): same mounting flange, 11 teeth, and same pinion position.

Please note:

Check the part number and voltage of your old starter motor. There are versions that look very similar:

• The newer Isuzu 8-98072-315 (Mitsubishi M8T81571) for Isuzu 4LE2 and 4LE2X from approx. 2007 (Hitachi ZX70-3 to ZX85USB-3, John Deere 75D and 85D, New Holland E70B and E80B) is also 24V 3.2 kW with 11 teeth and a 95 mm mounting flange, but the pinion is at a different base position (21.5 mm instead of 20 mm). • Kobelco SK70SR-2 and SK80CS-2 with Isuzu 4LE2X (from approx. 2010) usually feature the newer 8-98072-315 according to the catalogs. Please compare the number on your old starter motor.
• 12V version: the same Isuzu 4JB1 and 4JG1 engines are also used in machines with a 12V system, such as the JCB 8056, 8060, and 8080, the Case CX75SR, and the Gehl CTL70.
