Bought a Kubota V2203 cylinder head gasket and now? – Tightening torques for the Kubota V and D-05 engines
Our customer service is happy to answer questions such as: “how much NM or what is the tightening torque of the head bolts of our Kubota engine”. In order to be able to answer this question faster, we have decided to write a short blog about it.
This blog will therefore only deal with valve adjustments and tightening torques of the Kubota V series engines. Questions like width of cylinder wall, crankshaft sizes etc. If you want we can write a blog about this later on. The article below is mainly about the purchase of the cylinder head gasket, glow plug and cylinder head.

In general, an important rule is that the head bolts must first be provided with oil, on which the correct NM can then be measured with the torque spanner.

- 0.145 tot 0.185mm
- 0,00571 tot 0,00728 inch
Headbolts:
- 63,7nm tot 68,6nm
- 6.5 tot 7KGF
- 47.0 tot 50,6 FT-LBS
Main bearing bolts

- Bolt 1 29,4nm tot 34,3
- Bolt 2 49.0 tot 53,9nm
Glowplug:
- 7,8 tot 14,7 nm
- 0.8 tot 1.5KGf
- 5.8 tot 10.8 FT-LBS
General rule for size bolts:

- Bolt 2 68,6 tot 73,5nm
Glowplug:
