Please note:
There are more Kubota 2.5 kW starter motors with 9 teeth. They are not interchangeable. Check the part number on your old starter motor:
- Kubota SVL90 and SVL90-2 (V3800): originally uses Kubota 1J552-63010 (Denso 428000-8310). Aftermarket catalogs list this starter motor as a replacement, but Kubota itself does not. Compare the mounting flange, number of teeth, and length with your old starter motor.
- Kubota M-series tractors (M6800, M8200, M9000, M6040, M7040) have a Mitsubishi starter motor, Kubota 1G772-63010 / 1C010-63010. Also 2.5 kW and 9 teeth, but 40 mm shorter and with a different base position. You can find that here: starter motor Kubota M-series.
- The 3.0 kW version (Kubota 1G777-63012, 1K012-63010) for heavier V3307 applications does not fit here.
