New starter motor for the Kubota V2607 four-cylinder engine, used in medium-sized Kubota mini excavators, wheel loaders, and compact loaders. A direct 1-to-1 replacement for the original Denso reduction starter motor 428000-6940 (Kubota 1J730-63010): same mounting flange, same 8 teeth, and same rotation direction.

Please note:

Machines with the same or a related engine may also use different starter motors. Please check the number on your old starter motor and count the teeth on the pinion gear:

• KX042-4 and U50-5 use a different starter motor (Kubota 1J813-63010), even though the U50-5 is very similar to the U56-5.
• Kubota L-tractors with the V2607 use a lighter 1.4 kW starter motor (Kubota RC411-53200 / RC411-53201). You can find it here: starter motor Kubota 1.4 kW 8 teeth.
• A 2.2 kW starter motor with 13 teeth (Kubota 1J979-63011, Denso 438000-2770) is used on later common-rail versions, including the KX057-5. If your pinion has 13 teeth, this one will not fit.
