Clutch Plates for Mini Tractors

What is a clutch plate and why is it important?

The clutch plate is one of the most important components of your mini tractor’s clutch system. It sits between the flywheel and the pressure plate, engaging and disengaging the engine from the transmission. By transmitting engine power smoothly, the clutch plate allows efficient gear changes and reliable power transfer to the wheels.
A worn or damaged clutch plate can cause slipping, difficulty shifting, vibrations, strange noises, and loss of power. Ignoring these issues can lead to clutch failure or severe transmission damage. That is why a high‑quality clutch plate is essential for ensuring the performance, efficiency, and longevity of your mini tractor.

How to choose the right clutch plate

The correct clutch plate depends on the brand, model, and engine type of your mini tractor. Each clutch plate is designed to fit specific clutch assemblies, so compatibility must always be checked before purchase.
If you are not sure which clutch plate you need, contact our customer service – we’ll help you identify the right part for your machine.

Replacing a clutch plate

Replacing a clutch plate requires the removal of the transmission to access the clutch system. It is often carried out together with the replacement of the pressure plate and release bearing. General steps (always refer to your tractor’s manual):

  1. Preparation: Park safely, switch off the engine, and disconnect the battery.
  2. Disassembly: Remove the transmission to access the clutch assembly.
  3. Remove the old clutch plate: Carefully take out the worn plate along with any related damaged components.
  4. Install the new clutch plate: Position the new plate correctly, ensuring proper alignment with the flywheel and pressure plate.
  5. Reassembly and testing: Reinstall the transmission, start the engine, and test clutch engagement and smooth gear shifting.

Thanks to the accurate fit of our clutch plates, replacement is straightforward and restores the full performance of your mini tractor.
